As detailed by an ACLU memo (linked below**), many of the same problems seem to exist in a NJ charter school. Unbelievably, despite chronic and blatant breaches, the school’s charter was renewed by Commissioner Schundler and a team of highly paid DOE administrators in March 2010.
It seems, Mr. Fink, that you have uncovered a systemic “flaw” in NJ’s systems of checks and balances. NJ should employ your methods of ensuring lawfulness.
